Instructions: Descaling a Kettle Made Easy with Citric Acid

Important: Please follow the appliance manufacturer’s cleaning instructions.

1. Fill the kettle with cold or lukewarm water.
2. Add 2-3 tablespoons of citric acid descaler per 1 litre of water and stir well.
3. Let the solution sit and then rinse thoroughly. The solution should sit for about 1 hour. For severe limescale deposits, the exposure time should be longer. In the case of heavy limescale, the exposure time is about 5 hours.
4. Previously limescale-covered, now sparkling clean – with citric acid for technical applications!

Notes

Citric acid should be stored dry at room temperature. This citric acid is not suitable for food applications. We also offer food-grade citric acid, which can be identified by the E-number 330.
