Fischer-Tropsch Wax T 39 Granules
T 39 is a Fischer-Tropsch wax produced in the EU using the latest methods. It is also known as hardwax and FT wax. Fischer-Tropsch waxes are synthetic waxes that are among the hardest waxes in the world and have a high UV resistance. T 39 has a drop point of 110 - 120 °C and a solidification point of approx. 100 °C.
Applications
Fischer-Tropsch waxes are used as additives in a variety of areas. In the candle industry, FT waxes are added to increase the melting point and temperature resistance of wax mixtures. In hot melts it is used to reduce the open time, improve adhesion and adjust viscosity. In plastics and rubber processing, FT wax acts as a surface protection, release agent and lubricant. Other areas of application are paints and coatings.
